Can’t stop, won’t stop, won’t stop rock’n til I reach the top.
So I just finished up about 25/30 hours of old school html development (the kind that validates over at w3c) and content creation on an old real estate website we plan on resurrecting soon. I always like to start with a small seed of quality content and crisp, clean HTML, 2-3 months prior to building out an entire, complex site…it gives big g and the others a chance to get to know us and what we’re about.
If you want to see how I roll a new site in prep for launch, checkout Lake Vermilion Realty and run it through some tests. It’s hosted on a super cheap server (along with this blog) but it’s pure static html. You could send the super bowl audience over to it and it wouldn’t miss a beat. It currently looks like something out of 1992, but that’s kind of the point…at this point.
I’ve been on quite the roll as of late. We launched 5 new real estate websites earlier this year…and now we’re getting ready for #6. This one is laser focused on the Lake Vermilion real estate market and the surrounding communities and lakes, so I hope to have a easier time climbing the ladder over at big g.
This blog post is for one reason and one reason only. Those of you who know, know. Those of you who don’t…well, you will have to wait for me to get the bug to write something interesting. I’ve been contemplating some ideas, so hopefully they will force themselves out of me soon.
And hey, if you have a blog or a real estate site and find it in your heart to link to our new website, I will be forever grateful.
